So before anything else I would like you to know that I switch facial cleanser often especially when I hear/read a rave on a particular product. My skin type is oily and acne prone that's why I'm always in search for a good facial cleanser to address my problem. As of now I'm still using the Orange Peel L-Glutathione because I really want to see the effect of it. I know you have to use a product in a long run to be able to see it's effectiveness that's why I'm really being patient to it :) but before the Orange Peel craze, this baby right here was my best bud =)
What it claims: Acne-Aid bar is a balanced blend of a gentle degreasing agent and effective cleansers that helps cleanse the skin gently and thoroughly. Due to its highly effective cleansing power, Acne-Aid Bar is very useful in acne and oily skin conditions. Acne-Aid Bar contains no perfume, coloring or abrasives; it may be used safely with any other medication. It is recommended by dermatologists worldwide.
PROS:
- Has no fragrance, coloring or abrasives (as what it claims)
- does not melt easily
- huge bar and can be cut into pieces
- available locally
- the expiration date is written on the packaging
- effective in removing dirt and makeup on your face leaving a squeeky clean feeling
- may be used with other medication
- good for sensitive skin
CONS:
- I find it expensive (P182 for a soap!)
- it takes a long time before it can dry a pimple
WILL I REPURCHASE? Maybe. I maybe purchase this one again BUT I'm still using my orange peel right now and I think I will be using that soap for long time.
Is the dpeel soap effective for acne?
